    The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck and anything by F Scott Fitzgerald. I started with The Great Gatsby (not surprisingly) got hooked on his writing and read everything by him, incredible writing. But for me, The Grapes of Wrath is one of the greatest novels ever written.
