Personally, this sounds encouraging. I wanted to see him light a fire under the people doing the recruiting after our summer window, and it sounds as if he has done so. I suspect that if the club doesn't bring in a fair number of 1st teamers in Jan., there will be issues between RK and the club.

With respect to the January window, you should only do what business as you need there because your funds would progress the club further during the summer. Think of it in terms of opportunity cost.

Stones sale will more than likely cover any wage increases from the Jan window, easily. As soon as the season is over hopefully the commercial increases from that point on covers wage increases from next summer, as Esk mentioned.

To me, this new loan is the most concerning development of the summer, as it brings into question Moshiri's motives. I still trust that the man has the clubs best interests at heart, but without concrete reasoning for this new loan it's easy to assume the worst.
