    Joel Robles

I was really skeptical of Robles but he's proved me wrong I think. I don't think Robles is crap and he made important saves in both of the last two matches. We could have lost to liverpool by about 7 honestly. He's not as great at organizing a defense and it certainly shows, but that should...

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

I'm also able to disagree with people without calling them kopites. Done for the night for real this time ;)

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

No I'm obviously not satisfied with that either, just a bit annoying that people keep cherry-picking the home-form statistic just to make an already miserable situation seem a bit bleaker.

Been posting here a lot longer than you mate but thanks for that

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Fortunately away points count too. Done here for tonight, enjoy the fume-sesh catharsis. Can't wait to see how well the "lost the dressing room" nonsense holds up on Saturday.

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Stones also jogged off on his own, I'm sure if this had been our season on the line he would have tried to carry-on. I didn't seriously think anyone would disagree that he approached the squad selections with caution yesterday.

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Maybe you should take over mate, how many cups have you won? Again, I agree he should go in the summer but that doesn't excuse the insane knee-jerk here. Fortunately no one with actual power in the footballing world would be stupid enough to sack a manager days before a cup semi-final.

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Took out Barry at half-time, didn't try to rush Coleman back and saved Deulofeu as well.

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Well he's not going to come out and say "our season is over and I'd rather phone it in for a derby to give us a shot at winning at Wembley, rather than rushing players back for a fixture we'll almost certainly lose either way" is he? He brought Barry off with an eye on saturday, you can disagree...

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

Well for one, on Saturday Martinez won't be cautiously resting players in advance of a semi-final. Also we've actually beaten United at Wembley in the last decade, can't say the same for Liverpool at Anfield.

Should Martinez still be manager for the FA Cup Semi Final?

I'm baffled with him, why does he keep telling our players to put in stupid challenges and get sent off. I'm sure Funes Mori didn't want to make a rash challenge and was only following Martinez' instructions, right? It's also strange that he's instructed Stones not to jump when a ball is...

    The ‘Moytinez’ Conundrum

I want Phil Neville to come out of retirement and play midfield for us

    John Stones

You're right, wrong choice of words. Was referring to the fact that he wasn't allowed to walk straight back into the team once he was fit. Martinez is often criticized for persisting with his favorites over players who are in form, he should have credit for choosing to persist with Funes-Mori

    Phil Jagielka

loved the contrast to Stevie G's celebration, looked like he had rehearsed it a thousand times in his head. Jags just looked delirious with happiness. Wouldn't mind seeing him get rested for a couple games in the run in though, want to get the most mileage and most seasons out of him as we can!

    John Stones

Alternatively, now that he's been given the message that he's not greater than the club, maybe he'll change his approach and work hard to fight for a place in our starting XI, giving us every reason to hold onto him. Realistically, no premier league clubs should need to be selling clubs...

    John Stones

Thanks for reminding me of my words haha! I suppose I stand by them, I think his issues right now are mental/emotional, and I think a spell on the bench behind a more traditional centre half (who hasn't been too bad offensively himself) will have done Stones a world of good. In hindsight it...

    Hypocrisy or stubbornness?

If spending would assure us the title, I would vote for that. But it doesn't, so the question for me isn't about the ethics of buying the title, it's a question of how best to establish a platform for long term success.

    Oumar Niasse

Can't wait to see him play left midfield

    Joel Robles

Really hope this is tongue-in-cheek. He's definitely won me over to starting over Howard, but there's a huge gulf between Tim Howard and World Class.
