Match Thread Brighton & Hove Albion v Everton - Team Prediction, Waffle, Match Report & MotM Poll

Dyche doesn't think so. In fact his belief in his pre-match planning tells you so - even when faced with a side with no manager, without its two most talented players, and themselves on a poor run. To give away a last kick winning goal in the FAC and now the loss of 2 absolutely critical points...

    Thanks for that comforting conclusion

    2023/24 Beto

I knew our scoring a late point winning goal against Spurs would quickly be topped by conceding last minute in the immediate weeks. Everton that. Basically the manager is brain dead.

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

35 points is the target judging by recent seasons. In view of the fact that our actual results so far produce an average of 1.33 points per game (ignoring the 10 pt deduction) then short of a catastrophic fall off in results over the rest of the season a point a game on average will be enough.

    Fulham tickets

Why is the Fulham game not included in the 'Match Events' list on the official website? Priority Members are eligible to buy tickets today from 10am but at the moment they are unable to queue.

??? This needs clarification I think.

    2022/23 Demarai Gray

Garner was £15m. Still a steal at that price. The lad is quality. Utd fans were not happy when he was sold.

Match Thread Everton v Bournemouth - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

I hope there's no fireworks planned for Bournemouth overnight tonight. Don't need anything that might make them step up a gear.

Match Thread Wolves v Everton - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll.

Am going to be pushed to make the kick off on Saturday. Travelling by car from Liverpool but won't get away from work until 1. Does anyone know whether any of the car parks next to the ground tend to have spaces still available close to kick off?

No way will he be at Everton next season, PL or Championship. His contract extension simply gives Everton more leverage on the asking fee whilst providing the player with an immediate increase in his salary for the duration of his limited time remaining at the club.

    Fake News By Everton FC.

Gardner's the man. If/when he's fit to play he'll provide the "pass and move" that our midfield desperately needs. Straight swap for Iwobi.

Match Thread Manchester City v Everton - Preview, Match Report & MotM Poll

Cheer up everyone; last time (I think) we played Wolves in the Xmas period fixtures was 1983. We were near the foot of the table; though they were bottom of the league they still beat us 3-0. The knives were well and truly out for the manager (HK of course). I was there that day and by the end...

    Relegation 2022/23

It was more than an 'early purple patch'. At the start of March we were only a point off a CL place and had a game in hand. 'We were poor then' - yep, poor enough to win 11 away games.

    2022/23 Nathan Patterson

He moved forward before the cross came in and in doing so left Costa (?) well offside. Unfortunately the goal left no case for Costa having interfered with play. His mistake was not so much moving out but in then losing focus on the job in hand. I'd agree that defensively he needs improving...

    2022/23 Frank Lampard

You've fallen into the trap of judging other teams players on just one match. Going on this basis there are few here who would have turned away from buying McNeil given how he tore us apart the season before last. Thing was, Dyche was leaving him out for much of the second half of last season...
