Luton Town v Everton Friday 3rd May 20:00

We're in a different place now. 1-2 or 0-2 Everton.

    Ex Watford with Dyche too.

If we're serious about this game and the players focussed we'll win it. I'm still scratching my head how that load of tat beat us twice this season.

    2023/24 Seamus Coleman

Scheduled return is May, so he might well get on the pitch. A substitute appearance last home game would be a fitting end too his career. Bring him off a couple of minutes from the final whistle to get a standing ovation. He's earned it.

    The Everton Board Thread

No Everton board will be trusted again. And, to be fair, that's the way it should be in any case. Fans and their board's seldom have the same primary interests these days. The Moshiri takeover was the last time that our supporters will throw in with an owner / owners. Whoever it is that comes...

    The Everton Board Thread

Probably because they think fans are thick and have short memories and that - in their rightful hatred for the PL - they'll forget who the lunatics were who ran us into the ground.

    The Everton Board Thread

It'll be the communications department. I posted that 'We shall not be moved' / fist bump thing in this thread, but in all likelihood the likes of Chong et al probably haven't even got a clue what's being sent out.

    The Everton Board Thread

Anything worthwhile at this club is generated by the fans. They've prevented them moving out of the city - what would have been an off the charts act of self harm in the recent past, and in the last 3 seasons they've dragged the team over the line to clinch top-flight survival...and chased...

    Pre-season fixtures

...and, by the way, what a luxury to start this in April rather than May! Any preferences for the summer fixtures? Last summer's Brexit tour seems to have put a few hairs on their chests, so maybe a repeat of that as we know how superstitious they are now. Maybe the club should be touring...

    The Everton Board Thread

The club sending out emails with this attached to it... 'kin fist bumps. Remind me again what they did to get us out of the mess? Paid for a lawyer? The sooner those rats are flushed into the sewer where they belong the better this club will be.

That'd be even more embarrassing for the PL. The world of football must be watching on in horror at these clowns.

    Luton v notts?

If they handed Forest anything back it could also pressure them to hand back a point to Everton. Who knows with this 'process'? Hopefully whatever they do embarrasses Masters and his gangsters.

    Relegation 23/24 Thread

If Forest get 2 points back in the next few days and then Luton beat us, Luton will be still in the relegation zone on GD. The embarrassment of it all for the PL will be delicious, especially if those two handed back points prove crucial on the final day.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

His task for me is to keep us out of the relegation zone all next season and the season after that. With no points deductions I'm confident of that.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

Id see it as a realistic scenario, tbh. I'd imagine there are a number of suitors for a club with that stadium coming on stream and our PL status secured, and looking secure under a stable football regime for the next few seasons at least.

    Luton v notts?

Reading elsewhere that Forest get their verdict in the next 2/3 days.

    Relegation 23/24 Thread

lol I'll be disappointed if we don't win; but if we don't I really won't be despondent...in fact, if we do lose we'll help place the PL in a very awkward position if Forest get handed back some points and keep ahead of Luton after they just got out of the relegation zone. Win-win.

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

That's a great way to catering to those who're unlikely to get hold of a season ticket too. And presumably the club would get a license to screen all games there on a live feed?

    Luton v notts?

...also it would put the top hat on Liverpool's implosion.
