Pirates : the Last Royal Treasures.

S. Korean Pirates of the Caribbean.

Great fun, non stop action and not to be taken seriously.

Netflix.

Watched it last night mate. It was like a Korean Cutthroat Island. Must admit I preferred the Korean version of Geena Davis. lol

Watched it twice now was a bit sceptical at first but gotta say its as good as any ( Christian Bale being the best ).
Great cast , and obviously great location.

Just got back from The Northman and thought it was really, really good. Most certainly won’t be for everyone though and I already know a few that went in expecting something completely different. The locations are incredible, score fantastic, some of the casting works and some doesn’t (I wish they’d stick to local). Give it a solid 8/10.

The Batman, really uninspiring.

The huge problem is that there is no introduction to this world. Its like they’ve made a part 2 without setting the whole thing up. You’re thrust into a World we already know with characters already halfway through their stories.

It’s such a fine line between success and failure to paint a character like Batman in the real World without exposing the ridiculous concept he represents.

Operation Mincemeat I’d give a 9 for entertainment value. The Duke was ok too but not as good as I’d hoped. Avoid Gran, it’s possibly the most unfuniest film I’ve ever seen. I walked out half way through.

Went to see Prima Facie last night. A pretty heavy topic, but truly gripping and Comer is masterful.

Isn’t this contradictory? I, for one, am ecstatic we didn’t get another Wayne murders scene again.

Yep totally, but only on the surface.. It's like another episode in a series but all the actors haver been replaced and the story is already halfway through. People may love it but I had real trouble believing / following it, ill give it another go soon.

I think they're maybe just aware that everyone in the world knows Batman's origin story. If they did it in this film it would be like 4 hours long with Batman Begins tacked on the beginning.
