As a squad option, just why not? If we can somehow get rid of Niasse for some decent fee, Welbeck is surely better than him and we can bring him here for free, and he also is a HG player, while making a profit on selling Niasse. Then we ideally sell Tosun to buy a new starting striker.

New striker - Welbeck - DCL would be decent depth.

Because perma-crocked has beens don't add anything to the squad except an increased wage bill.

I honestly don't see the point in this, especially if we don't shift Tosun and Niasse.

We would offer him likely a 3-4 year deal on 100k per week, and would likely be in same position we are with Walcott - accommodating a once decent player on the decline.
