The price of the stuff is nuts. I've been in that stadium 3 times and pissed myself laughing looking at the prices...and the vendors outside are a rip off too.

The decision over which phone box will be used is due to be made this week by the rotating, temporary executive officer who takes turns for one week. This decision is not final and must be ratified at a bi-weekly meeting: a simple majority is needed for purely internal affairs, while a two-thirds majority is required for more significant matters, which is the case for the phonebox.

On the plus side, all calls made from the phone boxes will be free!

Yes, transport is not exactly there but you're talking about an event which is aimed at the 18-30 crowd. It's not a conference for old codgers. Everyone will find their way there with no issues I'm sure

Manchester, albeit with a better transport link had a concert at the coop arena and a match at the Etihad the same evening... That's 55k and 22k venues right next to each other. This is on top of an event at the arena plus a few other venues in the centre, all on the same day.

If Liverpool wants to be considered a top destination then multiple events all going on is a good thing.

They have Burnham, getting trams and £billions for new rail services.

We've got Rotherham and getting bendy busses again.
