Spending £75m+ in the summer, cash we barely have, on future prospects like Dibling, Barry and Anzou. Not even getting into whether they are talented or not but surely this was the season we needed solid players in areas of such obvious weakness. The fact him and Alcaraz cant get on is not down to them. Moyes will not throw the kitchen sink at it, he is a good manager but always eventually. He does dither. I want to see us play Rohl and Alcaraz and maybe go three at the back. Just have a go.

Ignoring criminal stuff then no. Clubs make a lot of mistakes when in panic mode. This summer shouldn't have been like that. Just it all defies logic.

And if we had spent our money on aging stars that only have a couple of seasons left and zero re-sale value? That would be a better business model?

We lost a game of football. It happens. Let's not pretend the sky is falling in just because we have lost at our home ground for the first time.
