Nobody sane expected a win. We hoped for a performance, however.

I'm afraid it's a different quality of opposition. Past games were against poor teams. Just a demonstration as to how far away we are from the better sides. Hopefully we can claw something back second half but we don't look like scoring especially hoofing up to Beto.

It doesn’t matter when we’re scheduled to play. There are always excuses why one day is better than the other. The bottom line is you prepare and come up with a game plan that gives you the best chance to win. And you do it again and again. It should mean going with a different line up for different matches. Throwing the same stale lineup out there with no creativity and complete fear to be brave and change things up leaves you with this. The RS knew how to prepare. All the had to do was watch some tape. Our lineup never changes.

I agree on a lot of that but here’s where I’d differ. Why not start Charly and Ndiaye together? Why can’t Ndiaye play in the middle? Put Ndiaye on left and Jack in the middle. Just do something different.

Of the players Moyes continues to trot out onto the pitch, yes, that’s the best lineup. I’m suggesting shuffle the cards once in a while. We have new pieces. These are pieces the RS haven’t seen before in ways we’ve never assembled.

Very much this. It’s like some people haven’t been watching the games so far aswell, we’ve hardly looked fantastic overall. That’s not a criticism either, nobody should be expecting us to, but we’ve been very ‘meh’ in the main.

I stand by what I said. Myko came back a game too early. Would like to see us try an attacking 3 with Dibs/Ndiaye/Grealish at some point with Dewy and Gana in the middle. Garner was actually doing well at LB but that experiment is probably over with Myko. Move Jakey central and Garner to RB.

As much as I love Moyes, he screwed us today. That first half was truly Horrific. Blows my mind how well we've been then he suddenly turns in to Dyche the elder
