It seemed obvious that when there were 3 players on him and this was a tactic - that he should have been moved central and Ndiaye moved left with someone subbed on for the right side.

Yeah I wanted to see Dibling last 15 just for this reason. Give Jack a quick slot there to try and magic something up in the 10.

There was one moment where he made space for a shot and tried to slide in an impossibly cute pass that did my head in though .

Unbelievable player though, literally just sit watching him thinking “why the hell is he here”.

These were no-brainer selections where no real alternative existed. But any time there might be a 50-50 call, the Moyesiah reflexively reaches for the comfy cardigan of conservativism.

Dont think was an overlap on him all game and i thought garner played well. Just what we need both sides to create space so ndiaye and grealish can cut in or the fb can take a man away because of the run

Yeah still think had a good game and well f all off the ref today, but they did do a job on him today as did as you said doubled up on him becuase garner was sitting back. Not that i blame garner aswell just not in his game at fb and also did a decent job
