Idk mate that game was very open. Gueye was stepping way up to press. We had 20 shots too.
The manager remains conservative. He took far too long - as usual - to make obvious enough substitutions. His faith in more tenured players at the club over the new joiners as shown in his starting selection wasn't vindicated. When that happens, you need to accept your loyalty was misplaced and make proactive changes. He waited. We've spent close to 100m on that bench today. More of that needs to be on the pitch - and earlier.

Now that we are a threat and teams respect us, they will play not to lose. We did nothing wrong. We lack fullback width. Grealish can't be the only one getting crosses off. We need pentration in the middle which we don't have or a creative passer in the middle. KDH helps us control games but we need an alternative on the bench

I feel we tried to go through Grealish to much today and they just doubled up on him. With no left footed fullback to overlap it made it harder for him. It’s like we just want Ndiaye to get in the box rather than create like he did last season. Happy with a point, we’d have lost that under Dyche so it’s progress but I think it’s 2 points dropped rather then 1 gained

when we do go forward it does feel like we will do something which is good it’s just a shame not enough shots and crosses. We look good playing quick going forwards. Dibling should have replaced Ndiaye around 70 min mark. Thought Keane played well should have had at least one goal. Just so frustrating with the awful ref and their goalie

Easy to say now, I realise, but I’d much rather Moyes take the risk and throw on Dibling and Charly if we’re the better team and looking for a winner.

I know he’s scared to do it and then lose, but that’s the game. We buy these players to make a difference and they’re not being given the chance.

Even in my own head I’m like “yeah but it’s Moyes and you know he won’t” but I credit the guy with enough self-awareness to know what’s required to change, and it isn’t doing the same stuff you always do. That’s the big frustration from me today.

I think he didn't want to take Grealish or N'Diaye off and then he obviously thinks KDH gets through a lot of work in the middle of the park. Could've rolled the dice. Understand why he didn't.

I just think we were missing overload in the wide areas with someone like Baines backing up one of the wingers.

I knew we were light on strikers after the transfer window 😬 too be honest I bore myself going on about it but at no point did I think Barry was going to surge through and score when he had that little run late on.
