Sorry our youth system is pants loan loan that's all we do or sell them off - WBA have a great player from our youth system Lampard really rated him ....

And the best ones make it with Everton in the end.
I think getting 25-30 games under his belt in a difficult physical league will benefit him more than that, must be great training with players of Grealish calibre and I'm sure it helps to an extent, but I think he'd prefer to get games rather than a few minutes here and there for us this season.
….i was under the impression Isaac Price left for the Belgian league as opposed to being released or sold. Thats what happens these days.

It isn’t really though is it. Compared to most mid table PL clubs in the same period we’ve had some very good players come through. How many other mid table PL teams have had players as good as Rooney Rodwell Barkley Gordon come through? Even Baines and Jagielka started off in our academy.
Some would be lucky to get one player as good as those out of their system.

Our youth system isn't, but the club for the best part of 2 decades hasn't had a clue how to develop a player once they reach first team age outside of farming them out on loan which I think mightve been closer to his point.

I largely agree with your post mate, I think our academy can definitely be improved but it’s not as disastrous as some would have it, I don’t think.
Should point out though that neither Baines nor Jagielka were produced by our academy mate. Wigan and Sheffield Utd respectively.
EDIT: actually I’m talking rubbish - I was going from memory so decided to fact check myself, and I didn’t realise that they did both indeed start off here before moving on to the above mentioned academies. So you are correct - I doff my hat sir

Isaac Price has done well no doubt, however I doubt if he is a player we are looking at in any way to bring back to the club.
I saw Lookman being mentioned as well as someone who got away, however I don't think he was never involved in any way with our academy and my memory was that he was pushing to leave.
