We were certainly past the talking stage. His decision to freeze out O'Brien and Beto kind of show what was wrong with the club. Did not look for answers and did things to the detriment of the club.

I thought there was a period of time after Dyche was brought in that he was probably the best option for a very flawed team that needed to win 1-0 to have any chance to survive. But he is the coach you hire if you just want to maximize your chance to stay up with a bad group of players.

If you want to compete for anything that matters, he is not the guy and seems little chance Grealish would have ever wanted to play for him. His handling of O'Brien was embarrassing. The team used Ashley Young at RB almost exclusively when O'Brien was available. The fact that he saw nothing useful from O'Brien is an indictment of any player evaluation skills.
