I know the theory mate, but I’m alright keeping someone as influential as JT around, Idrissa is still influential, hey even Seamus strung two games together.

I doubt we’d cut him loose.

Two year deal with an option , maybe…..

You can’t not love this man. Couple of mistakes recently but what defender didn’t have that in their career, especially after coming back from injury. We’ll look back after he’s gone and be thankful for the years we had him. He’s had a great impact on the team since he joined, helping us regain defensive solidity but also imbuing a more positive and committed attitude within the squad in the same way Seamus does. What a brilliant piece of business getting him in was. Thanks Tarky - you’ve already given us far more than we expected from you and continue to put it all on the line for the shirt. 💙

Absolutely. Rather than cutting people who’ve done a great job and can still be called upon to do a job when needed loose, we need a continuous process of upgrading and rotating older players into squad positions. I think we’ll see Jake moving central and Tarky and Keggers providing cover from the bench then next e back signing will see Jeans move on and Tarky bring 4th choice. As it stands though he’s still more than capable of competing for a starting position despite a couple of recent hiccups.

He wouldn't get many minutes for teams looking to finish top 8.
