New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yeah, swings and roundabouts. If marquees and pubs and other outlets can just spring up and benefit from the new stadium, then the downside can happen too and people will have to suck it up. That's the market. Have the Bramley-Moore Pub people been on the BBC to moan about tripling their takings?

Businesses want all the benefits of these things but scream blue murder if they lose out. The time to oppose this or lobby the council was when planning permission was being granted. Mind you, yer man is entitled to look for a solution from the council. But as we can see, they just blame the club.
Manageress was outside the Bramley at Brighton game telling everyone to go inside as the licence didnt cover it,
Shouting at the bouncers not doing there job, they ignored her along with everyone else.
All the ale was served in plastic glasse though.

must be an expensive gym - if 15 people not going on three occasions so far as cost him thousands.
And why doesn’t he grasp the opportunity to offer blues the chance of a pre match workout?
Could turn it around

Bonkers all that.

I tried to get out with two pints of Guinness in plassy glasses, bouncer said we couldn’t as the police had told them not to let any more out, even though there wee thousands outside.

Waited a sec then followed another lad out with the ale in our plassy cups.

He’s got a fair point, you would hope as a rate paying small business, someone from the council would have contacted them.
I’d be a bit annoyed if both access routes to my business were closed and no alternative was offered.
That said he might also see the opportunity of of doing a sideline every fortnight for passing fans - not sure exactly where they are but if there’s significant foot traffic passing theres a host of opportunities on match days.
Birchall St. is a dead end off Bank Hall Lane ,he should close the road off and charge for parking :D

Well, that's quite surprising, because at the side of the pub (right-hand side if facing it) they had a small single pump in the door to the back.

Perhaps it's a pavement licence, which wouldn't permit drinking in the road or the other side. To be fair, I think they'll get permission to serve there.
