Im building AI agents as we speak. Im yet to apply it to the GOT forum.

My concern is that if it pours over the content within here it will result in 1 of 2 outcomes.

  • Reduce its overall intelligence.
  • Make it think that it will be so easy to defeat us, it might aswell start now.
Pit your AI agent against Dave and he will argue it into submission.

What i'm interested to know is whether the new stadium and increased prices they've been charging the fans for pretty much everything, will help us get among some "peer clubs" like Newcastle, Villa, West Ham for revenue.

These clubs are all a fairly similar size to us in terms of fanbase and being outside the favoured 6 who have revenues on a different scale.

Be interesting to see if we are in the Deloitte Top 20 next season or is that just based on qualifying for Europe for the clubs outside of the favoured 6?

Always amazes me when our peers financially seem to be the likes of Fulham and Brighton (when we don't have European Football).

We should hit revenue similar to Villa and WHU this year mate, not Newcastle.

That said we are probably starting from behind abs a loss making position - in our last set of accounts we lost £50 mill.

Given the number of financial experts on GOT and our recent monetary mishaps, I’m surprised there isn’t a thread to talk purely about the financial side of the Club.

Things seem to have improved massivly in this area under TFG, and investment seems to be forthcoming and handled professionally for the first time in decades.

However, with our net spend (£120M) currently higher than Chelsea’s, the financial implications of spinning out the Women’s team, and today’s issue of new shares heralding a £42M investment, the financial news from the Club does still need to be looked at occasionally.

Please use it to keep track of all financial dealings, and conversations so as not to clutter other threads.
No more chat about Net spend that's Kopite behavior.

I watched a video the other day about the Budweiser deal and I'm sure one of the finance "experts" on there said that we will make a big jump in revenue from various deals but still won't be near what we were in 2019 when we were sponsored by USM. Does that seem right?

Would try not to over think about is becuase well feel like this has been the main subject. Had taken over us actually playing on the pitch, the way the game is with psr or whatever we will have to be run well and keep check of the books like teams villa newcastle have found out. But have the right people in charge now with tfg who will be trying to put the club back near the top

I Woukdnt trust anyone to know the exact specifics mate. I know the club were projecting a £40-50 mill uptake in revenue moving to BMD - that wa under the last regime though. If TFG have upped that at all by new commercial deals, that woukd be great.

I’d be expecting to land somewhere between Villa and WHU year 1 myself. ;)
