Moyes bemoaned the fact that he wanted older more experienced players but struggled to attract them so had to recruit younger players as they were more open to the “project” and easier to sign. ( and yes he was quoted in the echo saying exactly that for anyone not believing it).

I for one am glad he’s disappointed that he didn’t get what he wanted! A team of Soucek’s and McGinn’s isn’t the recruiting strategy we should be looking to do!!

We’ve had a very good window almost by luck more than judgement compared to what we might have had if Moyes got his way.

Moyes didn’t look disappointed in the slightest to me, believe some of the comments around the Souceks and McGinns are totally exaggerated from
certain forum members anti Moyes agenda!

Really sounds like a massive risk with his injuries, not saying i am happy with the options we have but could save on money but waiting for jan so we can swap out patterson for another player
