You'd gasp at the amount.Love to see what the vermin spend on Salbutamol each month. Must be significant.
No no, you're forgetting the Souness to Sampdoria moneyI understand the concept of net spend etc….. but the fact remains that they still spent almost £500 million on players this window, it doesn’t matter what they sold … there’s still half a billion worth of new players in that squad.
I wouldn't say Diaz was dross, very surprised they sold him. You could make an argument for Elliot as young/good prospect and they got lucky Saudis came in for Nunez. As for the rest,,,,they seem to get at least 20-30 mill for their reserves all the time ffsThey were insufferable before this transfer window & the Guehi situation, now, somehow they are even worse.
Half expecting the gimps from the anfield wrap to launch some kind of rescue mission and "save" Guehi.
Still cant get my head around the fact they generated 200+ million in sales of absolute dross.
Another bias-filled article from the BBC; long-winded, convoluted, and chock full of veiled digs at the evil Crystal Palace and how they hampered a poor boys dreams:

That's more than the 350 million the UK used to send to Europe every week!I understand the concept of net spend etc….. but the fact remains that they still spent almost £500 million on players this window, it doesn’t matter what they sold … there’s still half a billion worth of new players in that squad.
I can't wait to see the net spend target on a bus in London for their more local fans. That's more than the 350 million the UK used to send to Europe every week!
There are nations with budget deficits lower than their net spend.
