Not saying he isn't without weaknesses but with other utility men being able to fill in wide (and sometimes playing 3atb) it's not like we're totally without cover in this position.

For Nathan himself he needs to kick start his career - he’s wasting his time here.

Scouting team will be sent out today with a brief to find a starting right back here we will blow a shed loan of money on on the next two windows.

He’s wasted another year I feel and will loose more of his lustre. He’s getting bad career advice from his representatives.

Worth another go if he can sort his positioning out, thats just about using your brain. He now has players in front of him he can pass to and trust which should mean he can be more confident in his own game. We'll be attacking more so the time he spends defending is also reduced considerably. Got be worth a try, surely.

First part is key. When he plays he just doesn't look like a defender. More a Sunday League player who's found himself on the pitch. Going forward he looks useful.
