Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We're asking an awful lot from Gana as our only out and out DM at 36 years old.

Could we have a taken another go at Mangala? Once he recovers he'd been a handy back up DM.
Gana is not a DM and Moyes isn't asking him to be. In fact I thought both CMs were playing a bit high against Wolves. Garner showed he has some pace to get back, Gana-not so much.

Possibly one of the worst shouts of the window on page 4154. Impressive
Bamford is a poor man's DCL... the guy we let leave for nothing, the guy who replaced Bamford who was the guy Leeds let go and is the guy you want to replace DCL who we let go...you see there is a certain madness to your sugguestion?:)

Was me who suggested it not that i want it to happen that with Iheanacho ect is if the club will look for a 3rd choice striker. Is very much for the short term and hopefully wont be needed. That or the club will get one in jan

I’m amazed that we’d let Chermitti go unless there’s something else in the offing

Yeah did think i would get a reaction from it, still something i dont really want as hope the club have plans in jan. But would not surprise me if we did try was surprised has not been any names come out about us trying for another cf with chermitti gone even if was a loan.

Seeing as I rate O'Brien as a right back and we have added a promising left back to the roster, I think it's a good enough calculated risk to not waste money on a right back that was low down our list of targets.

Obviously this could come back to bite us on the arse, but we have a solid back line in general and really needed to significant strengthen the attack—which we have done.

Moyes' comments almost immediately upon joining were that we need to create more chances, which we are doing by the dozen now, and Dibling hasn't set foot on the field yet.

Garner has stepped up already this season and will hopefully improve more. There are options in the 6, 8 and 10 positions, and several players behind the striker are interchangeable which is great.

Would have liked a top striker and new set of starting full backs, but you can't have it all and I'm more than delighted with how the window panned out in the end.

Hopefully we'll be identifying the next targets over the coming months and can add the final pieces within the next 12 months.

After looking through your old post I think I have figured out why you can’t be objective about the lad could it possibly have to have to do with a certain someone playing in league 2 🫣

Please stop talking to me about Tyler Onyango. I don’t give a toss if he’s half Kenyan or he’s related to you or whatever: fact is he is crap and that’s why he’s playing League One football at the age of 22.

You seemingly only follow Everton because of him so I guess that’s the last we’ll see of you.
