Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Just saw some blurt from RedShite TV (or whatever they’re called), saying ‘we’re acting like the biggest club in de werld and certainly the biggest club in England’.

They’re so narcissistic and obsessed with other people’s opinions of them. The ultimate small penis syndrome.

The BBC North West reporter who was interviewing him was nodding along, clearly totally unengaged, annoyed he’d been assigned to this nonsense.

No one cares lads.

Oh bore off with the bolded.

Fullback is one of the most important positions on the football pitch in modern football. Going into the season fully with only JOB who can be relied on because Coleman and Patterson have had major injury issues is really poor.
And yet we picked up enough points to finish top 6 on average last season with a CB playing RB and a LB who can't cross. It is the least important position on the pitch and always will be regardless of what some hipsters think.

If OBrien and Mykolenko stay fit then it’s not an issue for us. They’re solid defensively and ultimately that wins you more points than an attacking fullback who can’t defend.

We are very light defensively, thinking back to Moyes’s comments at the weekend he’s going to be very disappointed at no cover. Hope we can get to Jan without too many injuries.
Obviously we can get unlucky, but there are only about 20 games until then. Mostly one game a week apart from the odd cup week if we progress. Calculated risk by the club but I think Moyes' disappointment will be tempered by how happy he is with our newly-acquired attacking players.

like i’ve said it’s the same if we get striker injury’s which we have less than we do defenders

i don’t see people moaning about the striker situation

After what they’ve done to English football shamefully ,you’d think karma would come calling for them ,I guarantee if they had the last 5 yrs we’ve had there attendances would be down to 20k
