Remember we always have Patterson who is as useful as a fart in a wind tunnel. Agreed though, if we dont get a recognised RB that has spoiled a very good transfer window.

We had like the 4th best defence in the league under Moyes. We have added depth at left back which we didn’t have.

Can understand why it wasn’t a main priority.

When the option expires the whole world gets to have a go too. All I'm saying is that we have to consider the reality that we could have just committed to a 72 million spending next season already. I of course hope that we can get Grealish cheaper though.

I mean, spoiled is probably over the top tbf but I get the sentiment! I think we've brought in some incredible improvements over previous seasons (especially for our standards) but we always want more as fans. I'm just bamboozled that we can't find anyone. Still time left today but not looking likely...

That would have to be an F1 speed of tyre change for me to avoid waiting around.
