Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Surely you add up the positives and then subtract the negatives?

Then you subtract the positions that havent been filled.

At that point you should realise that, 'A team is only as strong as its weakest link'...

...something to consider rather than immediately saying "boss window la" when O'Brien and Gana are out for a game...were going to be in deep trouble.
It's a 9/10 for me. And I'll add one for each signing we make today

Both ake and akanji started man citys champ league final win 2 years ago. Neither youd want starting for us. Mitchell started palace fa cup final win he wouldnt get in our starting squad, schar/burns started newcastles league cup final win and he wouldnt be a starter for us. The weakest links from them teams didnt stop them winning cups

Likewise us having a weak link doesnt stop this from being a brilliant transfer window. Crazy to even suggest otherwise.

Next season we have already potentially got a £72m bill to pay with Merlin & Jack. Lots on here saying it won't end up being 50 for Jack but if he has the season we all hope he has then it probably will be 50m. Why would City take less?
I'm sure the 72 is spread about over several windows but it's certainly something to remember as without sales, our spending will have to be curtailed somewhat next summer.

let’s not think about that for now ffs
