The squad is light years ahead of where it was in May.

Building a complete, competitive squad will take another window at least, but every player who has come in is better than the players we released, or whose loans ended. You can't ask for much more than that in a single window, with financial constraints, with a new recruitment team and with a market which is becoming increasingly costly.

Defensive stats were very good last season as well, raw deffo but on data a 20-21 yo known for as a youth player being more attacking and not great in the air posted very good defender stats and aerial ones.
