Yep...it was clear that we wouldn't have anymore incomings...takes us 2 to 3 weeks to sign a player. Time has ran out. Shame because with a proper rb in the team, we would have had a good chance of challenging the top 8/9...now I am not so sure.

We obviously watched a different game with different players. If you thought Hackney stood out as a future Prem star yesterday... For me average Championship midfielder nothing more. Hamer showed good close control and passing within a very poor Sheff United side.
Moot point as we won't sign either of them

I said he's started the season in excellent form... Which he has, nowhere did I say he is 'a future Prem star'?

Sheffield Utd fans have been largely critical of Hamer yesterday from what I've seen and SU didn't have a shot on target yesterday, never mind provide much attacking play.

Hackney didn't need to do much yesterday in particular, because SU got nowhere near them.

And yes, sounds like we did watch a different game

A RB is so much more important than a CM. We have zero cover there and we should be playing JOB at CB with the thought of him replacing Tarkowski by Christmas.

Actually always liked Maehle and he's equally good at right and left back but I think his best days are behind him (I'm a Denmark fan so I've seen a fair bit of him) Frendrup is a good shout too but doubt we'd be paying the price required for a non-priority position
