Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What are the odds we could convince/afford that Sanchez right back from Sevilla now that his deal has broke down to Napoli?

There doesn't appear to be any sign that we are interested. You'd think with them wanting Patterson, that if we wanted Sanchez that they would have been talking already. It does seem that his move to Napoli is not happening though, so if that's the case something might develop. I doubt it at this stage though.

So far they're correct, are they not?

Where's the right back or defensive midfielder needed?
They arent correct but far from it when predicting ruin.

Our squad has hugely improved this transfer window. Our attacking replacements have gone from always injured calvert lewin or broja to barry, our starting wingers have gone from at times mcneil and harrison to grealish and dibling, doucoure has been replaced by dewsbury hall.

It would be a huge shame not to sign a starting rb and get another forward and cm in as then the window will have been perfect. But if it takes a couple of transfer windows to make the team boss all over then so be it. Better than spending the last 20 transfer windows doing stop gaps, or signing players with zero future value and massive wages.

Mental to even suggest that this window hasn’t been anything other than good or better.

add on to all of this. We will end august either joint second or third if forest win today rather than starting the season already playing catch up.

Predicition of ruin is nonsense. Its now for first time in years positive things looking uphill!

while yesterday was a great win, I do think there'll be games where we don't score 3 goals from 6 shots, and I actually think we are pretty desperate for defensive reinforcements. especially with branthwaite starting to look like a player that won't manage 38 games every season

If anything happens to O'Brien we're goosed.

He'll probably be in a few owners thinking with long term planning, but he'll want a champions League challenge as his career progresses, same with Glasner who is also highly rated.

Moyes has done equally fine since he came in.
Well he’s at Bournemouth and they sold
60% of his defenders and he still stayed.
IF TFG have ambition then getting someone like Irola should be well
Within our reach and we’ve just got Grealish, when the whole country doubted it.
