Man utd penalty today

I think at some point a manager will take his players off and only then it might change
Marco was close to that yesterday, thought he was gonna throw a dig at the 4th official at one point.

I can’t believe it but the corruption has become even more blatant and obvious.

Criminal decisions yesterday for two of the scabs.

The rs will get looked after today in the scab-off agains the gunners at Mordor, and the Pigmol favour may get reciprocated at the emirates later in the season, when Arsenal get looked after.

More scripted than wrestling.

It’s nothing short of a disgrace. Nothing other word to describe what happened at Chelsea and United today. No way are those decisions the same should go they go against United and Chelsea.
Gallagher on sky men watching live football studio yesterday immediately maintained it was a pen! 1st pull outside the box, free kick. He said it continued into the box so penalty. Bizarre

It bollox, I’m certain we’ve had similar challenges on our players that have started outside the box and ended up inside, that were given as free kicks, they can’t even keep up with their own lies now.

The Fulham thing looking after Chelsea was worse I think.

MOTD the Chelsea pen was a pen and they got all 4 decision on the pen right. Bah the clear hand ball by the Chelsea player apparently wasn’t a hand ball but the Fulham one was,

The non goal was a joke though
Someone twigged a referee audit happening by PGMOL at that match and it seems to be talking a lot about Silva in the notes. They definitely have managers and teams they hate.

The craziest thing is that all the fans of these teams seem to think that the refs have vendettas against them. Truly bizarre

Funny you should say that. I work with a Wolves fan and he text me after the game saying the ref was a disgrace, gave us everything and gave them nothing. Even the RS say refs, the premier league etc have it in for them and will do anything to stop them winning the league.

If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick.

But if a United defender pulls the shirt of an attacker on the edge of the 6 yard box in injury time, no penalty.

Well said Nath. It begs the question why we still bother right? Then you see Grealish, Iliman and Dewsbury Hall doing their thing and it's like that's why we're still sucked in to the circus of it all

It’s all for the PL brand to sell across the world. Can’t have their precious 6 mid table so a bit of help to keep them competitive. Corruption at its finest and never challenged.

They can't risk a team winning the Club World Cup and for them to be shown as absolute shabite on the world's biggest platform. It would completely devalue the competition.

The stat that it was Bruno Fernandes 39th penalty for Man Utd since joining the club was a particular eye raiser for me as I doubt we've had that many penalties since the millennium (if we have it won't be many more than that)

It's the inconsistency that frustrates. The shirt pull on the Man U player may be a foul but the same thing happens at every corner kick and is ignored 99% of the time. Also, it shouldn't be enough to make a grown man fall over. I know that the times i've had someone tug at my shirt, it hasn't sent me sprawling. Imagine your 5 year old son tugging at your sleeve to tell you he needs the toilet and you ending up poleaxed on the ground! If a shirt pull is a foul - and i think it should be, it's a cowards way of cheating - then it's a foul every time. For balance, i don't think Mount's shirt pull on Walker was enough to overturn the earlier penalty (not sure if it was a penalty in any case though).
As for Fulham, and the intelligence-free zone that is Danny Murphy (and Steph Houghton). They said that the defender who was pushed in the back, in the lead up to the penalty 'needed to be stronger.' Firstly, if you are pushed in the back you are most likely not expecting it and therefore have no chance to 'set yourself.' Secondly, the defender was in mid-air! What has he got to brace himself against? Absolute morons! It's their stupidy that annoys me the most (and the fact that no one challenges it). They all a trot out the standard phrases 'needs to be stronger' without ever thinking about the absolute drivel they are spouting.

I wasn't a million miles off then. Plus you have to remember in Bruno Fernandes time there I'm sure other Man Utd players have also taken penalties
