Man utd penalty today

After our game ended, I ended up switched over to that game just as they were doing the four minutes of sitting around waiting for var checks before the penalty.

The whole "Manchester United is not winning at home, and suddenly here's a penalty late in stoppage time" thing raised some red flags, but then for the literal entire rest of the wait and then remainder of the game, no replay of the foul for the penalty was shown (at least on my feed). Like, the foul for the penalty was such that VAR had to look for multiple minutes, but it wasn't worth switching off shots of Bruno Fernandes standing around in order to show a replay? With a production that knew that the feed had entirely switched over at that exact moment? Ok then.

In the 80s and 90s the refs would say play on. That tug was so minor. He should’ve easily had no problem being an adult male and pulling through that. But it’s like he got shot. And if anything should’ve been given it would be a free kick outside the box and/or a yellow card for stupid theatrics.

Consistently winning by other teams outside of the 6 that is prolonged and sustained is the only thing to rip up the script that must be adhered to in order to secure predictable outcomes the PL wants. People have had it.

There is no point having the referee explain his decision to the world unless you also hear what VAR told him.
In rugby you can hear the full conversation between the officials. I went to games 2 odd years ago and you could buy a small radio and listen to the ref at the game. I suppose when your main aim is to fix the result you don`t want the ordinary fan listening in.
