Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

If chermiti and armstrong go would like to think would be replaced. Any rb on a free we could still get ?
Just caught up on the Moyes presser now.

Reading between the lines, it seems like another striker is off the cards despite Chermiti likely going out on loan. Sounded like it was the more 'defensive' areas that he wanted to focus on and referenced the AFCON, suggesting that he'd ideally like someone else in the IGG mould to come in to cover?
Just find it strange because the acon the only other player to cover cf if we did get injury would be ndiaye.

Even with Illy going to the AFCON, we'd have to be incredibly unlucky for both Beto and Barry to get injured over that time (remember that Beto isn't actually going to the AFCON himself).

They could still take another cheaper option like Ivanovic though, but it would still amount to a punt and they may think not worth pursuing to concentrate on other areas.

I guess you can't say that Chermiti really needs "replacing" but who knows what might come up.

If they got RB and DM in at this stage I would be more than happy with it. Three seems like a stretch, a couple is fine, just one in and I'd still be disappointed.

It all depends on the profile for me. If Armstrong is loaned out then as long as we kept Tim Ireogbunam and brought another actual DM in then we'd be sorted.

I could see the logic in another 6 mate, i suppose id ask the open question, would we better off with Armstrong then investing in the likes of Soucek or Brownhill.

You know id think id prefer Armstrong and you know what i like............Soucek. ;)

Armstrong just keeps knocking down milestones and taking opportunities.
