2025/26 Seamus Coleman

I presume he'll play but even if he doesn't, I'm not sure moyes goes in for that sentimental Schmalz.
There's no Bill anymore and I don't see much of anyone going in for it.
Bottom line is that the club is going through the biggest change in it's history both on and off the pitch.
Maybe they thought keeping the club captain for one more season is good continuity.
There are going to be something like 10 new squad members,
And tho I love Pickford and Tark, neither have anywhere near the people/leadership skills Coleman has.
And before you say 'yeah but he could do that as a coach', no, he couldn't. He has far more sway as the most senior player than as the most junior coach.
It's a head scratcher for me that people cant see this.

You are only a player if you play..

Anyway, have to assume he gets minutes tonight.

think he was about to come on on Sunday till someone in a different position pulled up with cramp.
I'd also wager JOB will be rested and Patterson's injured or going on loan, be very surprised if he doesnt start
I think he starts tonight with Dibling ahead of him.
