Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think while Barry has had a promising start and Beto is a reasonable squad player. I think we should try to sign Isak as well just to get a top goalscorer up there. Im not sure if it's within our budget but if we get creative and throw in Patterson maybe we get some £ knocked off the asking price.
I thought I heard he only wanted Liverpool....maybe he meant the city...

WELCOME TO EVERTON!

Hope we do go in for him.
Was initially sceptical when first linked tbh.
But I now think he could be a great signing.
Very exciting deep lying playmaker.
Obviously slight gamble transferring from lower division but definitely worth considering in my opinion.
Not seen enough of him honestly to give an opinion but if Moyes wants him then its all good.

He will be very good but as Moyes already mentioned he wasn't expecting to throw him so early.

Moyes needs a goto striker who is Premier league ready now.
For what though? To take away development minutes from our already-good-enough (for our purposes this season - we aren't challenging for trophies) young striker?

Sorry if this comes across argumentative, I promise it's just the difficulty of conveying tone over text haha. Barry just already is premier league ready. No he's not ready to be a starter for a CL level club, but we aren't that club either, so that's fine. He's a very handy mid table striker who should develop to be at least a level above that. Taking away development minutes from him to score *maybe* ~2-3 more goals over the season, and show other exciting young players that they might not get good minutes at Everton because we're too focused on the short term, is not a strategy I want us to pursue.
