Everybody has an opinion on next priority postion but if you dont have a striker threat then we will be treading water till January.
Find it mad people making such a defence over signing players like Soucek and Brownhill. They aren’t good enough and both would want a decent enough wage. Giving the manager options like these players isn’t a good thing and will see us stagnate and not move forward like we should be doing.
This makes me sad. Beto and Barry are nowhere near enough. Maybe one of our more skillful players can play a role up front?!
Van Weijk still at Coventry ( didn't get on last night in the cup either ).
Wolfsberg deal broke down.
At circa £10 mil would be smart business. Cracking player with everything we want in a full back.
Hope so mateThere must be a Premier League club(s) interested if:
a) Wolfsburg talks have broken down
b) He still gets benched in a tournament that doesn’t matter to foreign clubs
Hopefully we're in the mix.

Can we afford one after Dibling?Would love an out of the blue big money transfer now.
See I kinda disagree with this.Everybody has an opinion on next priority postion but if you dont have a striker threat then we will be treading water till January.
Fair enough but we are assuming the teams we are playing against won't recognise our weaknesses and cut supply lines. In the end you need a focal striker point with a genuine threat to allow you to spread the goals around by drawing players towards them .See I kinda disagree with this.
At the risk of taking our eye off the ball with our needs at DM/RB, feel like we can more than make do with the current striker situation even if Chermiti goes out on loan. Still leaves us with Beto, Barry, Ndiaye and now even Dibling who all have experience at CF. The goals can be spread.
Fair Point. All good RT. I realise off the back of a good win the last thing people want to read is something that can be seen as negative, but I think we all, myself certainly included, need to stop giving the club praise when it does something that should be considered the bare minimum.
I have been guilty too many times of giving the club praise at the end of the window, because I’ve rated the business they have done whilst overlooking the business they haven’t.
Plugging all weaknesses of a squad should be the aim of any summer transfer window. In my opinion, we are yet to accomplish this, and I don’t believe the window can be spoken of positively in its entirety until we do.
