With 3 keepers we have a squad of 24. Should be manageable with no Europe.

I’d like slightly bigger but not expecting it at this point tbh.

We’re not going to be using 3 keepers though are we. Seamus Coleman also doesn’t count as a player because he can’t physically make it onto the pitch. So really we have a squad of 21 useable footballers, including Nathan Patterson, Chermiti and Tyler Onyango. We certainly do need more players I don’t think it’s really up for debate.

Just to add on Rocco Reitz, I don't see it as a link at all, he said this earlier in the Summer, later being appointed vice-captain of the club, and I can't see how anything will have changed:

Does Armstrong play tonight if there is the possibility of him being loaned out? If he plays does it mean a loan is less likely? Does being cup tied matter as much as it used to?

Well who we loan him to might already be out anyway. Doubt any Championship side will care if he is cup tied. Hope we sign a player to allow him to go out on loan though, he needs 30+ games not 5x30 minutes in the season.

The amount of relief there is when one of those types of names moves elsewhere just shows how annoying the constant cryarseing over them on here is.

I shouldn’t be this happy that Danny Ings is going to a team at the bottom of the championship just because it means it will stop people banging on about signing him every single window.

Now if only Coufal Soucek Antonio Vardy Che Adams Lingard Dawson Longstaff could all retire from football that would be brilliant just to stop the constant shouts on here for them.

If we could get Soucek for somewhere around 10m, I'd really have no issue with the signing. We've seen plenty of times that he is effective under Moyes

It's the potential price worries me more than signing him. I would imagine West Ham want a lot for him. We need to get away from paying larger fees over 10-15m for players 28-30 plus

Wouldn't be shocked seeing how well Garner has done at left back knowing he can do the same at right back means the urgency isn't so bad. He is our new Alan Harper.
