Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Not many right back choices available are there
That Lad Bradley that plays at our first house ( not our second house ) is not getting a game
The scum played a player out of position there so the ugly baldy one obviously doesn’t fancy Bradley
There again its hard to replace the best RB in the wooiirrrrrrrllllldddd isn’t it
Question. Is he still the best right back in the world now that he jibbed off the scum and went and played for a proper big team in a proper stadium
Back on topic , we should bid for Bradley as back up to O Brien Garner Coleman and Patterson if he stays

Wondering why we are not making more of a move for Hackney, young, solid DM to sit at the base of our Midfield. Seems a fairly low risk punt.

We need to start thinking more about who we need than who is available!
Gives us so much in midfield on the ball that we don't already have, but he's pretty average defensively and that's in the Championship. I'd like to think he can add that to his game - he's pretty athletic and mobile - but I imagine that's why we haven't gone for him, because we need more steel in midfield.

Absolutely tragic if West Ham buy him and then sell Soucek to us though. I'd still love him as a cheap gamble option with upside alongside a proper DM.

Interesting shout this one. Generally looks solid when playing without being stand out. However this is still a marked upgrade on what we currently have. Would also expect him to improve over the next couple of years with decent game time. Would the RS sell at a sensible price though? Loan with an option to buy would be ideal.

I think he's brilliant but isn't a chance in Hell we'd go for him or he'd come here.

No chance.

I know they've signed Frimpong which sort of blocks the pathway for Bradley a bit, but he's only just signed a new contract and they don't have a lot of cover in that position.

The reason he wasn't playing is that he's only just started training again. He did come on last night I think.

You're probably right but worth a punt.

Another one that would rather go to some no-mark team because of his loyalty to the RS? Hopefully he wouldn't give a s**t and could be our next Gary Ablett (albeit on the opposite side of the pitch)

Not that, I just feel like he wouldn't want to step down a level. But if he is third choice it's worth an email.

With Gana going to AFCON, midfield is definitely a priority
Garner can and will provide ideal cover for Gana there.

More depth in midfield is still required though; I like the idea of a wardrobe sized physical beastie to join the existing midfield crew; but then have hung my hat on Hackney because he's so good on and with the ball. One more in that department definitely completes the middle of the park from a squad perspective.
