2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

I don't recall him dwelling on the ball a lot at all.
He did it a couple of times but nothing came of it, once a bounce pass was on another he should have come out the other side, you’ll remember it when it costs us a goal. Hes got something about him, but still feel he needs games for development and sheff utd would have been perfect for him at the moment we need him so unless we get someone in he’s playing which isn’t bad but I’m expecting mistakes

A massive improvement on how he played on Monday night and generally a good performance but positionally he still worries me. Gana hunts the ball so his midfield partner has to sit deeper. On occasions Tim forgot the script.
That’s where I am with it as well. They don’t complement each other in that way which can leave things open. Tim has talent though. We’ve clearly won the Dobbin swap deal.

Mate, he's way to good to play in the Championship. If he's given game time I think he'll be one of our best players by the end of the season. Some people want to jump on every single thing he doesn't do perfectly. Every player in our team made multiple mistakes yesterday apart from Grealish and Pickford who were more or less flawless. No idea why everyone is obsessed with loaning him out.

Mike has gone quiet all of a sudden as he was Tim's biggest detractor

There’s defo a really good player in there. Hopefully Moyes can coach the errors out, and get him to reach his potential.

I think he needs to move the ball quicker not just yesterday in several games he’s been caught being too slow on the ball, not knocking him but feel he’s at that age where he needs minutes now and if he’s not going to get them here a loan would probably be better, if he gets them here then great but he’s going to make mistakes and for me his biggest one that occurs is dwelling on the ball you don’t get that luxury in the prem it’s too quick hence my initial reply you commented on. Same goes for Armstrong but again we can’t really afford to loan either out at the moment would be great if we could get both of them minutes.

Think it's a you thing because I didn't notice him dwelling on the ball at all. He's still pretty new to the team and was playing with a quite a few new players yesterday. Takes time for players to get on the same wavelength.

Well must be a me and the other poster I initially replied to thing then. And what he does also do is ball watch again will come with experience but couple of times Gana has busted his balls to get in behind a man and he’s just watching jogging back. Lacks that sharpness and urgency and that shows when he does dwell on the ball but again just my opinion

The more he plays and gets to gel with with teammates he will be really good. Saw flashes yesterday and was happy with his performance played really well. Happy for him. Everything is new just like all the other new guys. Things will just click into place soon and that’s when we will see the best out of this team.
