Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I have been able to watch all the Everton games for the past couple of years yet it still feels like a real treat after years of radio etc. the demise of Saturday 3pm fixtures is sad though, particularly for travelling fans. Not the biggest fan of Sunday games due to likely working on Mondays but that’s the way it seems to be going under the expansion of the TV broadcasting. I say that and I have 2 Sunday matches booked to take long weekends in the city 😗
I always enjoyed listening to the “totally biased commentary “ with Daz and Snods whenever I wasn’t able to watch on Sky/TNT, now I find it’s no longer free and I have to buy a pass. Bit annoyed by that.

A lot of frustration out there but I remain hopeful that we will be stronger again come the end of the window. I found myself somewhat disheartened by the Moyes’ presser today. He spoke the truth but there comes a time for a leader to acknowledge the difficulties but still put fire in the bellies. Well for me, he didn’t do that.
Exactly that - so disappointed with his press engagement so far

Same. I loved the totally independent takes of Daz and Snods but circumstances permitted getting to watch the games and that’s a change I adjusted to quite rightly.

Hi folks. A busy weekend lies ahead - Chris and Sophie are coming tomorrow for the weekend so we are having a family trip out to Redcar. Beach and crazy golf in the morning fish and chip lunch and the races in the afternoon. We're all going, including Charlotte her partner, the baby and Charlotte's partner's 9yr old son who is currently staying with his Dad during the holidays.
On Sunday , me Mr F Chris and Sophie are going to a Harvest market at Raby Castle ( very beautiful location) . Charlotte is goingvout with her workmates for bottomless brunch so Frankie is having a sleepover.
I have a feeling that the bank of Mum and Dad will be empty by Monday!🤣 They are worth it though.
Have a good weekend everyone x

Sounds like a fantastic weekend. Have a great time.

Yes it has all been a bit dull hasn't it. I don't think he ever gets wildly excited about anything but he's being too negative for my liking.
I think it’s the criticism of Beto, the “we can’t get any decent players to come here” approach, and, as have other managers done to be fair, the lack of any personal accountability for the s***shows we have seen so far, that are particularly annoying me. I hope he’s not peaked already.

What a great weekend you have planned - enjoy it - I’m sure you will. It had totally passed me by that it was bank holiday weekend.

Good morning all on this fine clear one here but the temp has dropped to +6° ,all rather sudden as it was 20° yesterday ,it is however in my humble opinion the trigger temp for winter chanterelles so I am happy .
I hope all had a good night and a word from our own @peteblue would be a good opener for the weekend .I was never happy with Moyes coming as I said on here ,I felt anyone and his dog could get more out the players the Dyche did , I was pleased with the results after he came but he has shown the same traits he had years ago and that were never totally out of sight at WH .The one saving grace is that this is a business now not a train set for the owners and he will be gone in a jiffy if it is sensed he has once agin returned to his rigid ways .
Have a great day all and a lovely weekend's activities for all the clan @anjelikaferrett not that fish and chips is an activity as such ,on reflection drinking beer exercises your biceps so yes it is ! Good luck on the gee gees .COYB
