Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Moyes' rationale was that he is such an inspirational figure in the locker room, okay then absorb him into the coaching stuff or hire him as a motivational speaker as notable as he was for this club he's clearly beyond his capacity to play professional football anymore especially if he wasn't on the pitch Monday deputizing as left back. We can't afford any ceremonial players right nowv
Spot on the bench taken by a cheerleader then

Just for clarity I was referring to their transfer dealings.
And they aren't alone.

Yes all of these teams finished above us last year and/or won a trophy and/or can fill a bench and/or blah, blah, but if you trawled the fan forums of Aston Villa, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Newcastle, Tottenham, West Ham, Wolves I'd guess the mood would be the same as here, rightfully frustrated. For that many teams, some of whom are well run Clubs, to be in a similar situation to us suggests that, currently, it is a really tough market to operate in. The blue touch paper will probably get lit early next week as the clock ticks to 1 September when demands start to soften and movement starts to happen.

I'm far from an apologist to Moyes, Kinnear or TFG [our squad is a mess at the moment], but over the past few days, it seems some are fascinated on the next player Forest have signed without accepting that a good few proper Clubs are doing an Everton so far this window.

Hackney is a good player but think we need someone who’ll hold position in front of the defence, at Middlesbrough he has Morris next to him who’ll sit to let him get forward more
There were tentative links to Alvarez at West Ham but looks like they were blag too
