When it looked like we were spending money he was posting "big news coming soon" pretty much daily.

Now its all doom and gloom hes posting negative stuff. Find that a bit weird personally.

Best taking a wait and see approach I guess. Personally I think it’s disappointing we haven’t strengthened in certain areas before Leeds and now our first league match at the new place.

Right, that doesn't make any sense.

Is that £40-45m in cash or £45m amortisation? Because £45m cash means we could buy 3 players for £45m each with a £15m down payment and spread the rest of the cost over the remainder of the contract through amortisation.

Basically it seems to me he doesn't have a clue and is hedging his bets that we'll pull of dibling for the rumoured £40-45m. Then get loans in because his statment doesnt make any sense if he has the information he's claiming he has access too.

With every day that passes that outcome becomes more likely. If Elton is right, and obviously that is a huge if, why are we spending every penny we have on a RW prospect? I like Dibbling but if we only have enough to buy him and no more, we need to spread that cash out a bit. We are so short of players. But, yes, let's hope things aren't that bad.

100% mate im as disappointed as everyone else.

I just keep reminding myself that this is mid way through a 18 month rebuild of the squad.

Im willing to wait till the end of the deadline till i make my opinion on how well the window has been. But as of this moment its worrying its take this long to bring in anyone for the right wing.
