FWIW just (17:06) got an email confirming success in Villa ballot, block and seat there but price isn’t, but £65 just hit from the card.

For the BHA game there was no email on the day, just a £75 hit to the credit card there and then. Maybe procedures are improving

I suppose if we haven't heard one way or another, we can try and buy a ticket tomorrow from 10.00. I'm guessing they won't allow two tickets on the same membership number?

At some point questions will need to be asked about this ticket ballot process. There's nothing fair about somebody putting in for 10 ballots and not being selected yet someone can put in for 1 ballot and be successful.

The logical solution surely has to be weighted ballots? If you've put in for 5 ballots without success then you get 6 places in the next ballot, if you've put in for 6 then 7 places in the next, etc.

London marathon used to do this until it became a business. Now it's lost it's appeal, except the only plus it raises millions for charity

Didn't realise they would try to take the money before I even got an email, it was the wrong account and it bounced!

After hospitality and seats put to the side etc, there's 20,000 fans chasing 7000 seats roughly. So only around a 1 in 3 chance of a ticket with your £60 membership fee.
