I think the problem that will arise within this recruitment structure is who's accountable and responsible for the mistakes made and who gets the chop.

It's difficult to pin point who's causing the problems. The club or PR teams can and will spin it however they want but if we don't get a RW a RB and a CM we've failed and mis sold the fans down the river.

Obviously, you give them until the end of the window. But if we're left short or with mediocre players on deadline day you have to question everything that has been promised.

We're still in the realms of mitigating risk within PSR mate. Was always the case still this summer..

If we get Dibling for £40 mill, that takes us in my opinion to the guts of £130 mill invested and I'm including Grealishs 12 mill invested in that, i think we would be close to tapping out. I dont think we have much more bandwidth either cashflow budgeted year 1 or PSR.

A Maitland Niles loan or two maybe - i suspect we are trying to negotiate deals down to get say a Hackney or Ake over the line.

She gives me Al Myers vibes, she knows nowt.

The opposite in a way, she'll only be posting exactly what the club occasionally tell her verbatim about transfers. She'll occasionally get briefed with something they want to get out there. But she's not a transfer journalist by trade so she won't be writing articles or speculating.

Whether or not what the club briefs her is true is another thing entirely, but can be pretty much 100% that what she's saying comes direct from the club. But she won't have behind-the-scenes knowledge of deals from multiple angles to provide additional insight etc.
