Transfer Rumour Nathan Ake

I dread to think what his wages are
He's on 160k per week at City - 2 years remaining on his contract.

It's a fake story as we'd have to destroy our wage structure to buy a 30yo utility player who spent over 160 days of last season injured with five seperate injuries.

The last thing we need this window is a 5th choice centre half. This fraud isn't fit to lace Keano's boots.

We have a major problem with the defensive players including Pickford simply not being able to pass properly. They can't break a line to save thier lives. They suck at it. It's why Tarks & Pickford go long all the time & it's been a problem for quite some time now.
We can buy all the midfielders & wingers in the world but if that back line can't pass to them then it's utterly pointless. Look how little KDH was on the ball in the first half the other night.
If bringing in Nathan Ake means Jack Grealish & KDH actually receive a pass or two then I'm all for it. Something has to change. Still need a proper right back though.

Odd things happen in world cup years, he'll be pushing to be a regular starter to prove his value and ensure his inclusion in the national team.

The fact we are just down the road will be appealing, and he'll be seeing us as an opportunity to be a regular.

Good signing if it happens, instantly improves our team.
