Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Currently we have no right hand side options so that quality squad plan isn’t going great.
We need cover in a number of areas, it’s not necessarily an either or, can’t just stop looking at the other area and wait for the right hand side players to materialise 1st.

He’s obviously not coming here as an alternative to Dibling and we tried to get Kenny Tete earlier in the window but it didn’t happen.

It was always likely the RB would be either a free transfer or a loan, loans tend to happen late and they almost certainly will need to find a home for Patterson when that happens too.

Good idea to sort the other problems now and leave less to do at the end.

I can get behind it if hes being brought in as a dm to sit in front of the back line. To take the ball off them and start counter attacks.
Think he'd be more likely to be sat in the treatment room, 5 seperate injuries and 36 missed with them last season as he hit 29/30yo sign of a player whose body can't hack it anymore.

On Monday we had to play Garner out of position, had Tim Iroegbunam in the middle and Michael Keane at CB and if you’re David Moyes you’re probably acutely aware that if we get an injury during the game at Centre back, next up off the bench was Onyango (filling in time until he goes to Stockport).

I think it’s very safe to say we’ll find a use for Nathan Ake at some point fellas.
