Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Again I’m not sure that’s true, yes ww ain’t spending 100mil in the next week, but Dibling on a 5yr deal is 9mil pound next year and on a small wage. The issue is Moyes for me and this obsession with prem experience. You’re basically fishing in a small pool, price and loan fees will be high as will the wages.
We also have till June 30th next summer to balance the accounts

The bobble also said don’t be surprised to see McNeil linked with clubs. 15mil for him would probably give 10mil profit,
That could get us a 25mil player and a 5mil loan deal
Here's the thing. I would have expected that ALL concerned stakeholders at the club knew exactly the financial ceiling before the window opened.

Therefore we have basically chewed through a lot of it already with the balance sheet showing minium incoming sales. If the club thought they could have generated sales intrest in players to raise the summer budget it would have happened.

There is no intrest for our players except the ones we dont want to sell.

So TFG have to decide what next...sell to buy, improve comercial revenue or do a Brighton (sell your better players to grow).

The fact that we as supporters have to figure this out for ourselves is a real problem.

The drama about youth or prem experience or differences between management doesn't help but in the end , if you have the money then agents and players run towards your club because there is a club commitment.

I actually enjoy debating with Mike as he's a reliable foe. Came back from work today and sure enough I had an alert that he'd replied to one of my posts. Wish my Plenty of Fish ladies were that reliable

I read that as follows...

Haha it seems that way at times, the replies feel like the automated spam replies you get when someone's trying to scam you

Personally I think they are waiting on the Dibling deal, in a hope he will force a move. It seems they have put all their eggs in this basket and have been shocked at Southampton playing hardball.

Then are going to wait to see who comes on loan at the end of the window for number 6/ center mid and right back. Its clear they don't want to spend money on a right back.

Apart from Pickford and Branthwaite not a single player in our squad gets in theirs. Including Grealish. Promoted 3 years ago btw.
The amount of money you get for promotion and the momentum you get with promotion is a greater attraction for players than back to back relegation battles, a managerial merry-go-round and financial troubles.

I think so too
