Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The owners should be giving the recruitment team power to overrule Moyes, if it’s true that he is insisting on Premier League experience and holding up transfers. Personally I don’t see why he would be putting such stupid limitations on himself and making his job harder, but it needs to be made clear to everyone what the hierarchy at the football club is. And the Leeds losers need to have the minerals to stand up to him and have convictions in their own decision making. A CEO and head of recruitment being bullied around by a manager is the sign of complete dysfunction and not how a football club in 2025 is supposed to operate.
Fascinating.

If it's true Moyes is putting stupid limitations on himself?

Where do you make this stuff up? I've got a fairly active imagination, but you've got me beat. If he's sabotaging himself, someone needs to come along and stand up to his self sabotage in a clear and frank manner? Specifically the leeds losers need to do this. Moyes is now bullying them? Dysfunctional operation?

Is this some form of performance art? 'New age jive' or some such rubbish? Why not really run with it? He's waiting for instructions from the mothership that's docked behind Mercury to unleash the full potential of the squad, the three spare keepers will be the new attack because they can all whack the ball dead hard and the opposition sides will never see it coming.

So so bizarre.

It does seem people are terrified

Aye he never said we are struggling to find the cash, saying do we want to spend 85k on his wages along with signing on fee, if it affects future targets.

But we need to make a decision today on these targets
you’re making it sound we’re in discussions with brownill and trying to get his wages down, we asked the question and so have Leeds.
That’s it, he also said if we want brownhill we could go and get him today, the deal is there. He’s obviously not a player they really want, maybe on deal line day, we need a player and he drips his wages

Pretty frustrating to see Forest linked with and signing, seemingly with minimal fuss, multiple decent players in positions we desperately need strengthening...
Forest are rolling the dice for Champions league or bust....if they dont make it they sell players before June next year.

At least they have the balls to go for it.

You are dead weird. Read back a couple more pages and you’ll see people saying there’s been reports that Moyes and the transfer committee cannot agree on targets, suggesting Moyes himself is holding things up. That’s literally what the conversation was about?

We have a limited amount of money thats the facts in a sellers market in which we can be outbid or we cannot make it stretch far enough.

I dont know why nobody can see this.

Role on Deadline Day for the trolley dash.
Again I’m not sure that’s true, yes ww ain’t spending 100mil in the next week, but Dibling on a 5yr deal is 9mil pound next year and on a small wage. The issue is Moyes for me and this obsession with prem experience. You’re basically fishing in a small pool, price and loan fees will be high as will the wages.
We also have till June 30th next summer to balance the accounts

The bobble also said don’t be surprised to see McNeil linked with clubs. 15mil for him would probably give 10mil profit,
That could get us a 25mil player and a 5mil loan deal

Not quite. None of the outfield players they've signed are older than 24. And they've spent less net than us this summer I think.
Its not the profile of player - its the cost.

If they exit Europe early and slip down the table this season then they'll be in some trouble next summer.
