Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What you mean?

Everton purposely put out an imagine on social media celebrating some likely ridiculously low tyre partnership by showing an Everton employee and a Davanti employee holding up a shirt like it's a new player joining.

I think that's pretty awful in light of the current situation.
If it doesn't fit their narrative it's not true or simply made up.... that is all.

Laughing at how people are being jedi mind tricked into thinking Moyes isn't part of recruitment.

‘The Club will transition from a single Director of Football to a wider sporting leadership team. Planning for the summer transfer window is already under way, led by the sporting department and David Moyes, and senior appointments will be announced in due course’
I believe this affliction is known as The Moyes Mind Virus.

Not going fully defend moyes as still feel was deals we could have got done that would have improved the team. But if it is players he doesnt feel is ready to come in and make an impact. For me at the end of the day is called a recuruitment team all at fault

You look at the state of Everton and also situations like Isak at Newcastle.

The window should close before the season starts.

Anyone know the reason why it doesn’t?

Wouldn't even bet on Vardy. Being linked to Celtic.
Think at his age, the choice between a bit of silverware, CL appearances and whatever it is that we offer, it's no choice at all.
He'll go for any money he can get - it's his last ditch attempt to grab cash after Mrs Vardy blew his wad on the fallout of Rooneygate.

This post in no way endorses any moves for that Steptoe looking tramp.

Back in Aug the TFG leadership told Everton,s comercial team to turbocharge revenue. I think that was the first indication that our PSR headroom was holding us back this summer.

The club have known all along how much we had to spend and Moyes was not prepared to sell more players on top of the existing players leaving.

It's is Moyes's fault our Master Negotiator Nick Hammond has been low balling Southampton for a month?
I like Moyes overall but hasnt there been rumors that Moyes has been preoccupied with obtaining Dibbling? , I've been getting a whiff his obstinate and meticulous approach to recruitment might be impeding what needs to be a very surgical and focused recruitment window. I'm not implying it's all on Moyes as Im not privy to all the details but I always got the gist it was him just collectively lamenting about the lack of success and not having a go at the team because Moyes doesn't typically sit on the sideline when recruitment is involved

Just really difficult to see any kind of progression each window isn’t it? You see the likes of Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton, Sunderland making shrewd, smart signing. Replacing sold players in a strategic thought out process. Smart buys, unknown players with good potential, low fee low risk. Quick deals, announced and then done. All handled in a professional manner.

Completely demoralising. It’s like we’ve been left behind in the player market. Something is fundamentally wrong in our process.

Thank you , I've been saying this all window

The Premier league did this a few years ago but no leagues would do the same so they took the decision to revert back

Just seen on X (yes I know) Wolves and West Ham are bidding for Marc Casado, available for 25-35m Euro from Barcelona. I don't know anything about him other than he is a DM/CM who can also play right back,21 years old .Anyone know anything about him?

I would be trying to bring in loans from Roma - we should exploit that option and vice versa inclusive of sales and purchases.
They seem to have a pretty extensive squad but they are in Europa this season so I don't if they have any peripheral players that would benefit us? I'd assume that there would be an option available
