Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Absolutely not understandable unless he was injured surely he’s our back up LB probably been drilled in that position for years and left footed, instead of a right footed cm playing LB. If he wasn’t injured it’s a disgrace to have 2 Gks on the bench and him not even making the side. Or is it another case of money wasted? I’m not writing him off either but if he was available and left out shows how far off he actually is not to have an actual full back in the starting 11

Or shows that Moyes didn’t want him and was bought against his wishes and is making a point?

Will probably get pummeled for this but im sure a total of 50m (tops) buys Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho. Yes wages would be huge, but these guys would transform us as an attacking force. A CM and a fullback who can play either side (Maitland-Niles maybe) and we are surely a top 10 side?

Id rather buy proven premier league quality than waste nearly 50m on a promising but unproven teenager that no-one else seems interested in?

An interchangeable front 3 of Sterling, Ndjaye, Sancho with Grealish behind and KDH and a new CM behind them is completely transformational and all probably within budget.

Not sure why we overcomplicate things?
Let the pummeling commence

I've moved past the placid stage now, well past the "I trust the transfer committee" banging the drum. This is a utter disgrace, after last night surely they should have had a rocket up their arse.

It feels like we are treading water, to then panic at the end of window and sign utter dross.
Going backwards more like!
