No mate, spanked"Spanked" ? "Games"? You mean 1 game where we lost with a late incorrectly given penalty?
Or sink? Damn, I’ve forgotten whether I’m supposed to float or not.I FLOAT. I PROMISE!
Floating means you're a witch. The only way to prove you're not a witch is to sink and drown.I FLOAT. I PROMISE!
Sterling scored 18, 17, 20 in consecutive seasons. They are goal scoring numbers that are probably better than any winner in premier league history. He followed those with 10 and 13. At City he was scoring a goal every 2.5 games. Even at Chelsea it was a goal every 4 games. He was a top top player.I've never really rated him. His end product is horrendous. His pace has most likely declined a little. And like Sancho I don't detect any hunger in him anymore. I remember QPR tried this strategy of buying over the hill once good players and it nearly finished them off. Plus there's absolutely no link to Sterling either so there's no point even thinking of this scenario
A lot of past tense thereSterling scored 18, 17, 20 in consecutive seasons. They are goal scoring numbers that are probably better than any winner in premier league history. *note to self - they’re on to me*Floating means you're a witch. The only way to prove you're not a witch is to sink and drown.
He missed a tonne too. I'm not saying he wasn't decent at his peak but he never convinced me as a top level player especially in an England shirtSterling scored 18, 17, 20 in consecutive seasons. Yeah, I wouldn't sign him now but I was responding to someone who never rated him which seems ludicrous. He'd be one of our best ever players. He's been a much more effective player than Grealish for starters.A lot of past tense there
He scored 1 in 4 for England and was generally our key player (and therefore also the scapegoat). Alan Ball scored 1 in 9 for England in comparison. Trevor Steven also 1 in 9.He missed a tonne too. Well let's agree to disagree. The main point is we should be going nowhere near him nowHe scored 1 in 4 for England and was generally our key player (and therefore also the scapegoat). Alan Ball scored 1 in 9 for England in comparison. Trevor Steven also 1 in 9.
Who?In my opinion we definitely need a right back and a right wing. We're playing Alvarez as a right wing.
Not sure looking at someone’s goal record across their entire career is a great indicator of their current worth. His best years were getting on the end of attacking moves by one of the greatest club football sides ever assembled. Not really built for our grindcore methods. One bad season last year
Has a better than 1 in 4 goal scoring record in his career as 1 in 5 assist record. He is not turbo gash. He is younger than Gareth Barry when he signed and the same age as James Rodriguez..
