Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Taking Dibling as an example, this is their best opportunity to get the highest price possible. As time presses on, he gets closer to his contract end and his value decreases. He doesn't play, or just dials it it, his value decreases. There's a small window for them to get top dollar.
If Dibling is really on £5K a week, no way he’s sitting on that contract if he doesn’t leave this month. He will surely sign a much improved deal but with release clauses, so he gets the wonga whilst still there and the value of the asset stays high, works for both of them. If he sits on his current contract they both lose, and he could get a serious injury a week after the window closes.

I don’t think there is a much pressure on them as people think, so again we are in a corner.

Palace are least have won something, are in Europe and will have plenty of money from the Eze sale.
Just wait until Fatawu signs for Sunderland. Absolutely no excuses there.
I honestly believe that if we don't sign Dibling we won't sign the quality RW we need. I think we'll get a loan of a player of Jack Harrison quality (if it’s not Harrison himself) and a slightly better (but not by much) left winger and play Ndiaye out of position for the season. But not before desperately and publicly going back to Fofana to beg.

I think we've messed around and put all of our eggs (rightly or wrongly) in the Dibling basket, so it's incumbent on 'the committee' to get it done now.

Sorry for wanting Premier League level footballers playing for this Premier League football club.
Why single him out everytime? Why not criticise the team collectively for an overall bad performance? What do you gain from singling out individual players? It's the same with Patterson it's like there's a glee in the fans to say how bad they are rather than supporting them

Either Moyes has caught the mole or the whole recruitment team have all been fired and TFG don’t have the balls to tell us in case we storm BM
Think whoever said it earlier has the right of it. We are waiting to see on the Dibling outcome before moving on other targets, so we know our budget.

Issue is, we are desperate for players all over the team and the club seem happy to wait as long as possible to drive down the cost of Dibling. Admirable if we didn't have so much to do and actually had a first team ready, specialist right sided player at either full back or wing in the squad 🙈
