Agree to differ mate.
Its not a different money we're paying out for either so i dont understand your opposite logic.
It’s two weeks until deadline day, which isn’t that long really. If we don’t get any deals done this week then we’re into the last week of the window needing at least 3 first team starters with selling clubs also requiring replacements at short notice. We’re playing a very dangerous game waiting it out imo.Only if we fail to land long term targets. Needless to say if they spend the time chasing certain players and don't pull it off they need to have a good list back ups they know we can fall back on or we're screwed.
As a counter to your point though, my personal view is that everyone saying 'JUST GET PLAYERS IN NOW, MOVE TO DIFFERENT TARGETS IF YOU NEED TO, JUST SPEND THE MONEY FFS' basically just want us to panic buy now, weeks before deadline day to ease their personal stress at not having players.
Okay Mike list me the signings we've not made then because our recruitment team isn't up to it
If I have one criticism of our recruitment department this summer it's the time spent chasing that deal.Glad you agree we’ve wasted time with the likes of Kubo.
Just backs up the point that, as much as things seem to change some things will always remain the same. That's really dire
If Palace gazump us for Dibling the new owners will have a riot on their hands
We can't loan anymore from City!Who can we loan from city and chelsea who are desperate to offload players
We were never signing Kubo or Harrison. Most likely scenario imo is that we sign Dibling.
Well I’ve never seen a clubs summer spend figure quoted and include wages. Certainly not just one particular players wages tagged on but nobody else’s.
John Stones...Who can we loan from city and chelsea who are desperate to offload players
I like Garner. We signed a left back and we have Dwight McNeil. He is left footed and played as a wingback before. Moyes chose to play Garner there which is now even more inexcusible because by doing so, to your point, he made the midfield worse.I agree that the midfield was plop, but I'd argue that our most important midfielder was forced to play left back for the first time in his life because we have absolutely nothing at left back. You put someone as crap as Ashley Young at left back with Garner in midfield, and yesterday would have been a different game. Garner is underestimated. Our upturn in form last season coincided with his return to central midfield!
If signing Dibling is the most likely scenario we are cookedThat’s not a likely scenario at all.
Can't loan anyone from City. Sterling and Chilwell the two most likely Chelsea offeringsWho can we loan from city and chelsea who are desperate to offload players
